In the bigger picture, considering its age, it's not bad. I will list a few of the iniquities: wood crackling/cracking, wood coming off/up in areas, dents, chips, marks, stains, needs to be cleaned, coming apart, etc. Yet, there are various concerns due to its age. I did my best to catch the major concerns. The wood appears to be oak with a dark stain and gold stenciling. From what I am able to tell all parts appear to be original.
